Anything that saves time is welcome in my kitchen.
That's why I was so excited a couple of years ago when I created the best time saving from the kitchen microwave. This is not a camera or even a tool. It is simply a laptop. But he saved countless hours and stress.
Has this ever happened to you?
"I made this recipe a year ago. Do you remember? "I shouted to Blake as I pulled yet another cookbook off the shelf." There were new potatoes and two or three different types of mustard in it. It would be perfect for tomorrow's BBQ Todd. But I can not find it!
Unfortunately, neither Blake nor the last book kitchen I tore through any assistance have been and it took another seven books and about half an hour to find the recipe, a triple layer of mustard potatoes in cookbook Jane Butel Hotter Than Hell.
Unfortunately, this happened all too often me. I remember a great dish that I had in the past but can not remember which cookbook (about 75 or so have I) that was written, or sometimes even the name of the recipe. Still wasted 45 minutes watching and sometimes I could not even find the recipe at all. I knew that something had to change.
So I'm sitting at my computer to solve my problem. What I created is really the best time to save my cooking because the microwaves!
It saves me countless hours preparing meals and acts as a guide for future delight. Yet it is so simple that you probably thought you or even use some form of it.
WHAT IS IT?
I called everyday Easy Recipe Finder. It is simply a binder that I divided alphabetically with some tabs. You can make your own very easily with a paper notebook and store-bought tabs (AZ).
After preparing a recipe one of your favorite cookbooks, just write the name of the recipe down and place (but not the whole recipe) performed on the appropriate page. I like to save the recipe and then a second time. This time, I write under the main ingredient (if different name) or secondary ingredient. (Example: For a triple layer of mustard potatoes, I file under M for the mustard, then under P of potatoes.) What makes my life much easier when I'll get the recipe later.
Next I give each recipe a note. This is useful when trying Finder use my recipe for ideas.
Then, when it comes to cooking I can use the 'find the recipe in two ways:
1) If I have a recipe in mind that you know is just perfect, just look in the Finder Recipe and cooking out.
2) If I'm stuck for a recipe idea, I withdraw and the Recipe Finder milk skimmed through it. This is my opinion that proved well useful.
THINK ABOUT IT
Before rolling your eyes and go, consider how much easier life would be if you could find the recipe you are looking for in a book instead of searching through dozens at a time. After all, you're probably like me: You have books cooking more than you can reasonably follow and too many important things to remember to clog your mind with which revenues are.
Remember that often the simplest solution is the best solution.
Give it a try and see if you do not agree that it is the greatest time savings for kitchen since the microwave.
