Recipes Jambalaya
i am cooking a shrimp jambalaya today, the recipe says to use a slow cooker. Can i cook in a pan?

low temp. on my oven? Do u know if would make a lot difference?

It shouldn’t matter too much, as long as the temp is low. The main thing you need to do is make sure it doesn’t dry out, which would happen a lot faster in the oven than in a slow cooker. When you put it in the oven, put a lid on it, and check it regularly – if it’s getting dry, add some boiling water (if you add cold, it will slow down the cooking). If you don’t have something with a lid, you might want to try a couple of layers of foil, but again, check it more often!
